Works Manager

We are looking for a new team member for a Works Manager position:

Main tasks:

  • Coordinate subcontractors of construction, responsible for area and package in the given specialization,
  • Supervise that the construction works are undertaken by subcontractors according to time schedule as directed,
  • Ensure through on-site activities that the construction works are on adequate level of quality, direct to required designs, specifications, standards and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) requirements,
  • Analyse technical documentation and technical solutions – solving current problems on site,
  • Preparation of accurate project documentation (quality documents, work situations, closing documentation, etc.),
  • Issue work permits, run and maintains e-diary, control monthly reporting and payment certificates,
  • Participate in the daily coordination site-visits and weekly technical meetings,
  • Participate in a tender process,
  • Supervise and implement the EHS regulations by ensuring that safety best practices are implemented on all site activities.
You will need:
  • Construction or building-related Degree
  • Min. 3 years of experience in similar position (former experience at a general contractor company is an asset)
  • Native/fluent Hungarian required
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to use AutoCad, Word and Excel
  • Leadership skills, being able to lead group of workers and dealing with subcontractors
  • Conflict management skills
  • Organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills
  • Certificate as technical responsible person (FMV) is an advantage
