The Senior Systems Integrator will play a critical role in helping lead initiatives in the design, development and maintenance of architecture, integration and reporting solutions for the organization’s portfolio of internal and external data providers.  

This individual will work extensively with other IT and Business Team, including:
  • Project Managers, Business Analysts and Application Specialists to develop requirements and technical specifications for new integration/reporting solutions.  
  • Application Developers, System Integrators and Systems Architects to provide a comprehensive solution, whenever systems integration is required. 
  • IT and Business Teams to extract value inherent within the organization’s data stores through the use of BI tools and advanced analytics.
  • IT Customer Service for providing higher tier application support on technical issues related to data and integration.
An ideal candidate should possess a passion for new technology, experience mentoring junior team members and a history of contributing to the technical and architectural vision in an enterprise environment. 

What You'll Do:

Analysis
  • Work with Business Analysts to translate functional specifications into technical specifications;
  • Ensure that integration projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues;
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of data storage, security, integration and analytics.
Development
  • Develop ETL orchestrations, testing and validations;
  • Work with business colleagues and business analysts to design and create reports; 
  • Ensure accuracy & integrity of data applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation & problem resolution;
  • Deploy self-service data visualization and reporting solutions to end users providing easy access to data.
Architecture
  • Provide management and governance of corporate data through the use of master data management, data cleansing, data quality, metadata management, data modeling and data security tools and methodologies;
  • Provide architectural expertise and direction to Business Analysts, System Integrators and Software Developers on new and existing projects;
  • Develop strategy for company Business Intelligence and Analytics, providing a road map to allow the company to take advantage of Big Data;
  • Spearhead data science initiatives to explore viability of machine learning, advanced visualization and predictive analytics within the organization;
  • Develop, document, and communicate system and data standards.
Support
  • Execute data exchange projects with internal and external customers;
  • Handle on-going maintenance & support of existing integrations;
  • Provide leadership and guidance in the management of the portfolio of reports;
  • Troubleshoot existing reports.
We're looking for:
  • Extensive experience working with a variety of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), database technologies, and tools;
  • Expertise at querying and manipulating data on multiple platforms using multiple methodologies and tools;
  • Extensive experience at designing and implementing enterprise ETL solutions between a wide variety of technology topologies;
  • Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report writing applications, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts;
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent architecture and technical support documentation skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with appropriate parties;
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language;
  • Ability to conduct research into emerging technologies and trends, standards, and products as required;
  • Good troubleshooting, problem solving skills and analytical thinking;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form;
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with technical peers and business partners;
  • Able to project professional image for the company in person and over the telephone;
  • Ability to work independently towards general results, and to devise new methods and meet new conditions for involved/complex jobs;
  • Tasks involve operation within the overall business philosophy and strategy.  Requires continuous use of independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in a wide variety of very complex issues;
