We are seeking an outstanding Regional Vendor Diversity Manager for Skanska USA Building’s Southeast Operations (GA-FL) to join our Ethics, Compliance and Outreach team. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our local GMs/EVPs, Business Development Project Planning leaders and other key stakeholders. In joining our team, you will become a primary champion of Skanska’s culture and values, partnering with our regional leadership to help them build, nurture and cultivate a more diverse sub-contractor base as well as administer and develop a strong DBE compliance program. 

You will help ensure that all employees, whose work involves participation with engaging MWDBE firms are aware of and trained in the DBE Compliance Program. You will report to the National Director of Vendor Diversity and will ensure program compliance with: (i) all relevant federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations as they pertain to MWDBE related programs; (ii) the Skanska DBE Compliance Program; and (iii) the applicable prime contract requirements governing MWDBE compliance obligations. You will also be working to continuously improve our working relationships with our subcontractors and suppliers, especially in the area of MWDBE participation.

What You'll Do:
•Work with management to fulfill the company’s values with respect to vendor diversity;
•Conduct both periodic and regular audits of Company projects, departments, offices, and employees to ensure that they are in compliance with Skanska’s DBE Compliance Program as well as all regulatory requirements;
•Help educate, train, and raise awareness of the DBE Compliance Program to ensure a proper understanding by all employees whose work involves participation with DBE firms;
•Manage compliance with MWDBE reporting requirements;
•Support the region’s business development teams in creating Vendor Diversity strategy for pursuits and interviews;
•Organize MWDBE events and represent Skanska in the MWDBE community for intentional engagement;
•Communicate with Owners on project-specific MWDBE compliance issues;
•Serve as a trusted partner for the region’s Project Planning and Operations personnel regarding MWDBE processes during the project planning and construction phases;
•Resolve and advise on project-specific MWDBE compliance issues;
•Other duties as assigned or required.

•Has a BA/BS degree in legal, business management, construction management, human resources management, labor relations or a related field of study or equivalent practical experience;
•Has 5+ combined years of experience in a variety of areas including Employment, Vendor or Subcontractor management, MWDBE compliance, and community outreach ideally within the state of California;
•Ability to travel up to 40%, potentially 50% at peak times.
