The Project Analytics Director is a regional leadership position that facilitates compliance with corporate project controls standards resulting in efficiency and transparent results.  The position requires business management acumen, operations knowledge and experience, strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills.


Working collaboratively with project teams, this position leads discussions to better understand the relationship between trends and results and the operational risks and opportunities to the project achieving established and desired financial and commercial outcomes.   The position works directly with project teams to develop effective risk mitigation strategies to enable them to maximize opportunities, resulting in increased margins. This position, through leadership and training, enables and promotes project teams’ behaviors to better understand the benefits and effectiveness of our standards.

What You’ll Do:

· Oversees project controls deliverables for cost and document management

· Improves operational performance and effectiveness

· Timely provides GMs/Operations Managers with data that allows them to make decisions which may result in increased opportunities and avoid negative project outcomes

· Partners with Project Accounting groups to provided aligned and coordinated information to GMs/Operations Managers

· Partners with project teams to support and guide their performance

· Promotes strategies for project success

· Promotes environment for compliance with standards

· Supports and leads risk management culture

· Participates in marketing/pursuit opportunities

· Develops strategy that supports necessary controls for client and Skanska

· Innovates to improve processes

· Represents Skanska in the community

We’re Looking For:

· Self-starter and leader to drive improvement

· Systems  knowledge and efficiencies, including Microsoft Office products as well as industry specific systems

· Proficient in PMIS software

· Knowledge of risk management fundamentals

· Thorough understanding of industry

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Good math/accounting skills

· Functions effectively as part of a team

· Dependability, flexibility and able to address challenging information in a calm manner

· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times

· Ability to develop or maintain relationships with project teams

· Exhibits strong leadership qualities

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Strong decision making/problem solving skills

· Seeks new knowledge/experience

· Acts as a liaison between project teams and Professional Service Groups

· Bachelor’s Degree – Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent

· 8- 10+ years of industry experience
