Building Services are looking for a Helpdesk Supervisor & Shift Leader to join our Northwood team. The position will be based on the Helpdesk and will be to assist the manager on day to day cover as well as supervising and covering the helpdesk when required. This role will require you to wear a uniform.

You’ll:
 
  • Answer and transfer calls, logging jobs via the CAFM system (Geneva) and updating Helpdesk staff on the jobs coming through
  • Update jobs that have been raised in the event logs.
  • Complete and close jobs that have been raised via the helpdesk.
  • Cover the Accommodation department where needed during normal working hours.
  • Work between 0830 and 1700 Monday to Friday but may be able to cover 12 hr day and night shifts (inclusive of bank holidays) if needed.
  • Update the rota with staff holidays when requested.
  • Train new staff ( from both Helpdesk and Accommodation teams) on all aspects of the helpdesk role
  • Liaise with other department managers, SMT, CMT and high ranking military when needed
  • Deal with complaints in the absence of the Manager and Customer Services Ambassador
  • Supervise the Helpdesk and Accommodation teams when manager and Customer Services Ambassador are absent
  • Complete monthly report in manager’s absence
  • Attend meetings when required for the manager
  • Any other reasonable requests made by the manager.
 
 We’re looking for:
  • Good oral and written English skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Geneva CAFAM System
  • Knowledge of Medallion accommodation booking system
  • Knowledge of military
  • Must be able to pass security vetting to SC level
  • Must have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years in order to pass clearance procedures
