Health & Safety Manager – East London

Based on our Silvertown tunnelling project, working for the utility diversions.

You will have a broad range of responsibilities;

  • Provide high quality advice, guidance and coaching to senior management within the Project or Alliance in order to achieve the goal of zero accidents
  • Establishing and maintaining the highest Health and Safety standards for the OU and assist in the development of an Injury-Free Environment. 

Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)

 

Candidates must have previous experience of managing direct reports, responsible for performance reviews and leadership skills. It is essential that you have previous experience in relevant field of Construction/Utilities Health & Safety, NEBOSH General Certificate or above and be working towards chartered membership of IOSH – CMIOSH. Desirable skills are; NEBOSH diploma, NEBOSH National Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work, MSc/PGD in Occupational Health & Safety Management or equivalent and NVQ level 4 or above in Occupational Health & Safety.
