Finance Assistant

For our Finance Team in Skanska Property Romania we are looking for Finance Assistant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be exposed to both Commercial Development stream, and as well to Construction stream and gain business knowledge by supporting internal customer needs and  contribute to their success.

 

You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities and activities:

 
  • Work closely with our Finance team and cooperate with our company network within Romania and other countries;
  • Assisting the Financial Manager in daily tasks;
  • Assessing business risks and communicating its observations to stakeholders;
  • Exposure to various stages of operational risk management;
  • Compiling data, creating and generating reports;
  • Assists the Finance department in the development and implementation of accounting and controlling systems;
  • Follows the implementation of controlling measures (the correct use of cost centers);
  • Assists all employees and follows closely the preparation of the expense reports according to the company policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for managing the insurances of the company;
  • Follows and manages the validity of commercial contracts;
  • Responsible for archiving fiscal and accounting documents;
  • Provides support to the financial department and ensures the communication flow in relation with the fiscal authorities;
  • Ensures the smooth running of the process regarding all payments to suppliers and partners; Works on continuously improving the processes associated with payments;
  • Regularly participates in strategic meetings with internal and external collaborators that provide accounting services in order to streamline processes and mitigate the risks associated with them;
 
You are a perfect candidate for us, if you have:
 
  • Good interpersonal skills, open attitude and a collaborative approach;
  • Graduated or currently under graduation of Accounting, Finance or relevant studies;
  • Knowledge of the primary accounting, banking payments or similar involving numerical skills;
  • Knowledge of the computer programs, including Microsoft Office and especially Microsoft Excel;
  • Very good English both in written and communication;
