The position supports our Skanska Integrated Solutions (SIS) group.


Summary of SIS:


Program Management Services are offered through Skanska Integrated Solutions, the Consulting and Program Management arm of Skanska. SIS functions as an “extension of staff” and trusted strategic advisor to its clients. As an advisor and advocate at every step, we maintain direct control over the project and allow the owner to stay focused on the day-to-day responsibilities of running their facility or business. As program managers, we serve as the focal point of project team communications from conceptual planning through design, construction, and closeout. Our consulting services can range from project management, cost bench-marking, project feasibility analysis, strategic facilities planning and energy consulting.



Administrative Assistant:

Administrative support for an entrepreneurial group of 50 consultants and program managers in various locations (primarily based in Boston). Opportunity to support and further organize the group, as well as help grow the business. Exciting, fast paced environment where creativity and interest are primary qualifications. Organizational and computer skills are required, as are curiosity, energy and a desire to lead and grow.


The Administrative Assistant assists and supports the program executive(s) and is responsible for general administrative duties, including management of schedules, handling phone calls and editing and composing routine and advanced correspondence. The position works under direct supervision and performs customary and advanced administrative activities. This position must demonstrate strong organizational skills, have the ability to handle confidential and time-sensitive materials, as well as have strong communication and client service skills. 


What You’ll Do:


  • Perform general administrative duties, including electronic organization of files, and document reproduction;
  • Edit or compose routine and advanced correspondence, presentations and/or reports;
  • Coordinate communications to and from Executive(s), including phone calls and other forms of correspondence while maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients;
  • Participate and provide technical support across a variety of initiatives including process improvement, marketing, and business development both internally and externally;

  • Support and lead existing and new initiatives;
  • Participate in strategic development of the group;
  • Maintain and update project websites;
  • Support projects and contracting process through organization of logs and records;
  • Compile data required for monthly reports into consistent format and assist project managers in compiling and assembly;
  • Work with SVP-Regional Executive to coordinate team building and engagement activities.


We’re Looking For:


  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products (strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required) and collaboration tools;
  • General understanding of industry;
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to function and contribute in a team environment;
  • Dependability;
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times;
  • Interest in LEAN and other process improvement methodologies;
  • College Degree – no particular major or specialization required. We are seeking a creative team member who will contribute and grow.
