The Accounting Administrator assists and supports the accounting team with financial, clerical, and administrative services. The Accounting Administrator must work in a collaborative manner with co-workers and have strong organization skills. The Accounting Administrator derives his or her authority, and performs all duties with guidance from the Accounting Manager.

What You’ll Do:

  • Process company banking transactions
  • General data entry
  • Assist with document organization, filing, and scanning
  • Assist in collecting requested audit support documentation
  • Other duties as assigned or required

We’re Looking For:

  • Knowledge of computer systems (JD Edwards preferred), including Microsoft Office products
  • Must have strong work ethic and professional attitude
  • Ability to prioritize workload, learn quickly, and maintain sensitivity to confidential nature of assignments
  • Strong organization, presentation, and communication skills
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Accounting/bookkeeping experience

 

Work Environment/Job Conditions

This job is performed in the office. Activities and responsibilities require frequent sitting (often working on a computer), walking, standing, light lifting, bending, and reaching. Due to computer usage, there may be repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
